The center has three main programs: CAIF and Children’s Club which operate under an agreement between INAU (Uruguayan Institute for Children and Youth) and Centro Espigas Foundation. INAU provides the necessary funding to cover part of its operation costs, which are complemented by financing coming from Fundación Retoño Uruguay. The third program, Simiente Project, is fully funded by Fundación Retoño.
The children from all the programs are given balanced breakfast, lunch and snacks, depending on the time of day they attend the center.
