During the first days of November, students from Simiente Project’s 6th grade and Liceo Espigas shared several exchange activities, in preparation for the students transition from primary school to first cycle of secondary school.
Children from Simiente visited Liceo Espigas where they were joined by Liceo students and teachers. They had the opportunity of living what day-to-day life at the Liceo is like, getting to know the premises, clear up doubts and questions, and also meeting with those children who already went through the same educational transition.
The visit was completed with an experience in the biology lab, which allowed the future students to have a better understanding of the dynamics and processes involved in attending secondary school.
Also during November, Simiente opened the registration for new applicants to participate in the Project next year. At the end of the registration period, there will be a draw to determine who is accepted into the program.
