The Simiente Project started activities on March 2015. It is a part and is located at the Espigas Centre. The project is aimed at children that are studying 5th and 6th grade at public Primary Schools in the area, making a total of 150 pre-teenagers, split in two shifts, opposite to their schools' schedule: morning and afternoon.

The pedagogical approach is focused on strengthening what the children learn at school, developing their social abilities and preparing 5th and 6th graders for a successful performance at Liceo Espigas, which will open on March 2016.

The programme's staff consists of a Coordination Teacher, three Group Teachers, two Assistant Teachers, a Study Support Teacher, two Social Assistants, a Psychologist and Workshop Teachers for music, computer sciences, English, theatre and physical education (on land and water).
